Day 1 (Nairobi)

  • Arrive at the airport and meet a representative of Serena Hotels for your transfer to the refurbished Nairobi Serena Hotel.

  • Transfers are based on flight details provided.

  • Check into the hotel at any time after 3 PM.

  • 5 PM: Enjoy a complimentary welcome drink (tea, coffee, or soft drink) with snacks at the lounge or pool, depending on the weather.

  • 7-9 PM: Rhythm & Roast welcome buffet dinner at the hotel’s Pool Terrace (subject to weather) or Café Maghreb. Includes 1 soft drink,

  • 1 glass of wine, and a bottle of mineral water per person.

  • Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.

Day 2 (Nairobi to Amboseli National Park)

  • 5:30 AM: Early Buffet breakfast at the hotel Café Maghreb.

  • 6:30 AM: Transfer to Nairobi SGR Train Terminus for your scheduled train to Emali Station departing at 08:00 hrs.

  • 9:27 AM: Train arrives at Emali Railway Station.

  • Meet your Serena Driver Guide and drive to Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Enjoy a game viewing upon entry into the park en-route to the lodge.

  • Early afternoon, arrive and check into Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

  • Enjoy a lunch in the central dining area of the lodge, followed by an afternoon at leisure to relax and enjoy a swim in the lodge’s swimming pool.

  • 4 PM: Afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park; includes transportation and park entrance fee.

Please note:The tour/excursion included with this trip involves boarding and sailing, walking outdoors and navigating stairs, and

is not wheelchair accessible. It is not recommended for guests with mobility limitations or certain health conditions. For safety

Kenya Safari

Kenya Entry Requirement: (IMPORTANT)

  • All visitors must have a valid passport with at least four (4) consecutive blank pages.

  • An entry visa can be obtained online prior to arrival. Fees range from US$50 to US$100 per person per entry, depending on nationality.

  • Travelers are responsible for securing the correct visa and all other required documentation.

Train Transportation Requirement & Restrictions

  • Passport Details Required: To book your train ticket in advance, provide your passport number and the exact name and surname as on your passport. These details will be forwarded to customer support.

  • After the Deadline: Train tickets may no longer be available through the vendor. Transportation will then need to be arranged at your own expense.

  • Luggage Restrictions: Hard suitcases are prohibited. Pack soft travel bags no heavier than 66 lbs (33 kg) and no larger than 5 ft (1.6 m) in height or width.

  • Plastic Ban: Since June 4, 2019, all plastic bottles, straws, and related products are banned in national parks, reserves, conservation areas, and other wildlife protected zones under the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act.

Terms and Conditions

Must be an Active DreamTrips Member in Good Standing to Travel:

You understand and acknowledge that participation in DreamTrips is an exclusive benefit of membership, and your monthly membership fees must remain current and paid in full from the time of booking through your travel dates. If your membership is cancelled or becomes inactive after booking, your trip will also be cancelled, and any refund will follow the cancellation policy specific to your trip.

Name Change Policy:

Note: Due to contractual agreements with our suppliers, requests for booking modifications submitted after the stated deadline cannot be confirmed without supplier approval. If an exception* is granted under special circumstances, an additional processing fee of up to $100 USD may apply.

  • Completed 90 days or more before the start of the trip – No fee applies.

  • Name change $100 fee USD (per name) will apply.

  • After July 16 – Name changes are NOT permitted.

  • For the entire removal of a guest, see the cancellat

  • Name changes are NOT permitted for the DreamTrips Member (main guest) listed on the booking.

Transfer Policy

  • Booking transfers from one member to another member is not allowed on this trip.

Cancellation Policy

  • From date of booking to 66 days before the trip start date – Receive a refund less a penalty fee of $100 USD per person.

  • Within 65 days of the trip start date – Non-refundable.

  • All fees are applicable on a per-person basis.

Note: This cancellation policy is subject to rules and regulations in applicable jurisdictions in which our travel supplier (vendor) is based. In

the event of conflict between the cancellation policy displayed here and cancellation terms in the supplier's booking terms, the more

restrictive of the two terms will prevail.

Chargeback Disputes

  • Filing a credit card chargeback may result in immediate termination of your DreamTrips Membership (at the

    discretion of DreamTrips International), including loss of access to trips and travel products.
