Itinerary

(Itinerary subject to change. Timings are approximate.)

Day 1 Arrival | Bucharest

  • Upon arrival at Bucharest airport, meet our representative who will warmly welcome you and guide you to the hotel airport shuttle for your transportation to the hotel.

  • Check into the hotel at any time after 2:00 PM

  • 2:00 - 6:00 PM: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby.

  • 7:30 - 9:30 PM: Welcome reception and dinner at a nearby local restaurant, walking distance from the hotel; includes 3-course dinner and water, beer or a glass of wine.

  • Overnight at Continental Forum Bucharest**** (or similar).

Day 2 Bucharest – Sibiu

  • 7-8:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Check out by 8:45 AM and meet your guide at the hotel lobby entrance to begin boarding transportation.

  • 9 AM: Depart for a panoramic tour of Bucharest. Highlights include the Triumph Arch, Athenaeum, Revolution Square, Royal Palace, Parliament Palace, and Unirii Square.

  • Continue your journey across the stunning Carpathian Mountains through the scenic Olt River Valley, stopping for a short visit to Cozia

    Monastery, founded in the late 14th century

  • Arrive in Sibiu in the evening, check in, and enjoy the rest of your evening at leisure.

  • Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Sibiu.

  • Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.

Day 3: Sibiu - Hunedoara

  • 6:30-8:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Check out by 9 AM and meet your guide at the hotel lobby. *You can store your luggage at the hotel’s luggage room 9:15 AM: Depart from the hotel.

  • 9:30AM – 12 PM: Walking tour of Sibiu’s Old Town. Explore one of Transylvania’s most important fortified towns, founded in 1190 and

    reminiscent of classic European cities such as Nuremberg. Highlights include the Big Square, Small Square, Staircase Tower, Liar’s Bridge, and the three main cathedrals – Orthodox, Lutheran-Evangelical, and Catholic.

  • 12-2 PM: Free time at your leisure. Lunch is at your own expense.

  • 2 PM: Departure from the hotel and head to Hunedoara.

  • 4 PM: Arrive in Hunedoara and check-in at the hotel.

  • 4:15 – 8:15 PM: Enjoy a relaxed afternoon at your leisure, taking time to unwind and prepare for an extraordinary evening ahead, as anticipation builds for an unforgettable Halloween private party, exclusively for members, at Corvin’s Castle.

  • 8:15 PM, gather in the hotel lobby to begin boarding transportation for a truly unique experience at Corvin’s Castle, the striking 15th century stronghold of Transylvanian ruler John Hunyad, steeped in legend, mystery, and medieval grandeur.

  • 8:30 PM: The exclusive private Halloween party begins inside selected halls of the castle, reserved exclusively for members. Set within candlelit chambers and echoing with ancient music and folklore, the evening features a festive dinner served within the fortress, along with traditional welcome drinks of plum brandy and hot wine. The celebration concludes at midnight, followed by a transfer back to the hotel.

  • Overnight at Rusca Hotel*** (or similar).

Day 4: Hunedoara - Sighisoara

  • 7-9:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Check out by 9:45 AM and meet your guide at the hotel lobby entrance to begin boarding transportation.

  • 10 AM: Depart from the hotel and head to Sighisoara

  • 1:30 PM: Arrive at Sighisoara and enjoy a walking tour of Sighisoara’s historic centre. Highlights include the Clock Tower, Church on the Hill, Scholar’s Stairs, Monastery Church, and the towers of the citadel, including Shoemakers, Tailor’s, and Tinsmiths Towers.

    In the evening, enjoy a 3-course dinner in a local cellar restaurant, within walking distance from the hotel. Includes water, beer, or a

    glass of wine.

  • Overnight in Sighisoara in 4-star hotels: Mercure Binder Bubi, Central Park (or similar).

Day 5: Sighisoara – Bran – Prejmer - Brasov

  • 7-9 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Check out by 9:15 AM and meet your guide at the hotel lobby entrance to begin boarding transportation.

  • 9:30 AM: Depart for Bran Castle, the legendary fortress that inspired the Dracula legend. Next, visit the Prejmer Fortified Church (UNESCO), an extraordinary example of defensive and religious architecture.

  • End the day in Brasov, where you’ll spend the night at a 4-star hotel

  • Lunch and dinner are at your own expense

Day 6: Brasov – Snagov - Bucharest

  • 7- -10 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Check out by 10:15 AM and meet your guide at the hotel lobby entrance to begin boarding transportation.

  • 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Explore Brasov’s Old Town on a short walking tour. Highlights include Weaver’s Bastion, Ekaterina’s Gate, Black Church, and Council Square.

  • Continue to Snagov Monastery, located on an island in the middle of Snagov Lake, to visit the tomb of Vlad the Impaler (Dracula), where his final resting place sits directly in front of the church altar.

  • Next,, head to the Bucharest Airport area, arriving around 6:00 PM, and check in at the hotel.

  • The rest of the evening at your leisure.

  • Overnight at Rin Airport Hotel**** (or similar).

  • Lunch and dinner are at your own expense

Day 7 Departure

  • 7:30-10AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

  • The rest of the morning is at your leisure until checkout.

  • Check out of the hotel by 11 AM.

While traveling through the mysterious Transylvanian countryside, you’ll enjoy the historic and remote aspects of each destination. During your multi-city tour, you’ll stay at 4-star and 3-star hotels, carefully selected to provide comfortable accommodations and, most importantly, a welcoming place to rest after full days of touring.
