The Journey

Travel with purpose as you serve alongside Guatemalan villagers, build meaningful connections, and experience a culture rich in history and heart.

The Impact

"In the heart of Guatemala, you don’t just build a school, you discover the power of community, hope, and your own hands to make a difference.”

Get ready to roll up your sleeves, build a brighter future, and explore the heart of Guatemala

Experience hands-on service, rich culture, and the beauty of rural Guatemala.

The Journey

The Exploration

Work side by side with Guatemalan villagers to build an eco-friendly bottle school, contributing hands-on to a project that benefits local children and their community.

The Experience

Your efforts will provide a safe, sustainable place for children to learn while supporting the community’s mission to improve their environment, leaving a lasting mark you can be proud of.

Work, explore, and connect with communities in a journey that matters.

What We Love

  • No matter your skill level, age, or physical strength, team leaders will find something useful for you to do.

  • Every step of the building process is done by hand — literally leaving your handprints all over the school.

  • Village volunteers give talks about subjects, such as the Guatemalan Civil War and migration, to help you better understand the

    people.

  • Start and end your trip in Antigua, which charms with cobblestone streets and Spanish colonial buildings, and even remnants of a

devastating 1773 earthquake. For most of your visit, you’ll stay in small towns and rural areas.
